Event Details

This is a free event, but RSVP is required as spots are limited.

Falling in love is the easy part! What happens after that? How do you come together in your relationship to work as a team? A key part of that is how you manage money together. Sadly, money is one of the leading causes of stress and conflict in relationships. It’s one aspect of a relationship that we usually don’t think about in the early days, but can have a big impact on the future of a relationship (for the better or worse!)

SkilledSmart has invited Tristan Scifo, Director, Financial Adviser and Coach at Purpose Advisory, to deliver a special workshop on how to make money work as a couple.

In this workshop, Tristan will look at:
> Should you combine finances with your partner? And if so, how?
> How do you have healthy (and fun!) conversations about money together?
> How do you deal with different money perspectives and habits (e.g. what if one is a ‘spender’, and the other is a ‘saver’?
> How do you set and implement budgeting and investing goals together, like a team?
> How do you deal with ‘power dynamics’ when it comes to money in a relationship?

Money is be a tool that you can use to achieve your goals together. If done right, working on a shared vision for your money can actually help bring you closer together. Come along and learn how! This event is for anyone in a relationship, or planning to be in a relationship. Seriously. It’s that important.

Note: Please arrive at 5.45pm for a 6.00pm start.
