22aug6:00 pm8:00 pmProperty For Millennials: Still Worth It?

Event Details

This is a free event, but RSVP is required as spots are limited. No RSVP, no entry.

The “smashed avo” generation gets a lot of bad rep: ‘spends too much’, ‘saves too little’, blah blah blah. The reality is that most of us are interested in property, it’s just that sometimes it feels too hard, too out of reach, and too complicated.

If you’re in the market to buy your first property, but secretly you don’t really know what you’re doing, this event is for you. Or maybe you’re not quite ready to buy a property…you’d like to, buy you aren’t sure if this is a good time, or if you’ll ever be able to afford it, or if it’s even a good idea?? After all, property has been red-hot in Sydney for so long…and now there’s all this talk of the “market cooling”?? Should you still buy? If so, when? And how?! So many questions!

SkilledSmart has organised an amazing panel of speakers to talk to you about all things real estate! And don’t worry: this is not an event for sophisticated-investors-in-stuffy-suits, or advanced-investors-with-a-multi-million-dollar-property-portfolio. Beginners & intermediates are welcome!

We’re going to talk about some common mistakes first-time buyers make, what are some things to look out for, how the market is performing and much, much more.

Do not miss this awesome line-up of speakers!

We run a 6-week money-basics program teaching all the stuff you wish you’d learnt at school about money. Taxes? Check. Investing? Check. Superannuation? Check. Our teachers are experienced financial professionals, so you get to learn from the pros themselves.
